We're Hiring: Marketing Manager

The Handle Bar is Boston’s largest independent boutique fitness brand, known for our music-driven classes and vibrant studio community. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Marketing Manager to lead our communications, campaigns, and creative brand execution—including merchandise, promotional products, and in-studio branding.

This role is ideal for someone with a few years of experience in marketing—especially in the fitness, wellness, or lifestyle space—who’s ready to take ownership of brand development and storytelling. You’ll collaborate directly with the owners and oversee day-to-day marketing efforts that drive awareness, engagement, and loyalty across all platforms and physical touchpoints.

What You'll Do

• Manage and execute our weekly and monthly marketing calendar (email, social, events, partnerships)
  
  
• Coordinate marketing campaigns across all HB locations and digital platforms
  
  
• Oversee the design and production of merchandise, promotional items, and branded collateral
  
  
• Lead the execution of in-studio brand installations and visual storytelling
  
  
• Write, schedule, and manage content for email and social media
  
  
• Support studio-level promotions and partnerships
  
  
• Track campaign performance and make real-time adjustments
  
  
• Work closely with leadership to align marketing efforts with business goals and brand vision
  
  

What You Bring

• 2–4 years of experience in marketing, brand communications, or creative production
  
  
• Strong writing, organization, and project management skills
  
  
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms, Instagram, TikTok, and Canva
  
  
• A sharp eye for aesthetics and design—especially across merchandise and physical branding
  
  
• Ability to juggle creative direction and execution with strategy and metrics
  
  
• Passion for boutique fitness and/or wellness 

Bonus Points

• Experience managing merchandise or product development
  
  
• Background in event marketing or grassroots promotion
  
  
• Previous work with a community-driven brand
  
  
• Comfortable in a hybrid environment with regular in-person needs

Compensation & Perks

• Salary Range: $60,000–$75,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications
